Eleda mi crooner, Olamide, is no doubt, a Nigerian youth’s delight whenever he releases any of his songs, but this time round, he is being scolded for one of his latest videos.
The video entitled: ‘Story for the gods’, displayed homosexual acts by video vixens in a raunchy scene.
This, however made some of his fans ask why Olamide set out to mislead youths with his video. They reminded Olamide of the seven-year jail term for Nigerians who display homosexual tendencies.
But some fans came to his rescue as one asked: “What about Nollywood movies that act homosexualty in their movies? Maybe the guy was trying to pass a message with his song.”
Another fan said: I am not against him expressing his opinion, but why do we have to bring people down? Someone sits down, comes up with something nice and a wheel chair critic decides to run his mouth anyhow.
Telling people to keep their mouths shut, another fan of his said “I love this video. It’s for mature minds, so, shut your traps if you are still a kid.”
Neither Olamide nor his management was reachable for comments as of press time,
The effort is obviously just pure entertainment from the music star as he featured video vixens shaking their backsides as they danced with each other, which is a norm for most male artistes when releasing videos
