2015 ELECTION: Electricity tarrif reduced by 50%~FG

Its no longer a current news that the federal announced to the general
public on the 17th of mach that the electricity charges have been
dropped by 50%.
Firstclass newsline learnt that the reduction was enforced as a result
of numerous complains by electricity consumers,it was gathered that so
many Nigerians have been complaining. Of how they are being duped by
the federal government by charging very high for the usage of
electricity and also the hike in price of the said prepaid meter
without constant power supply..

Some group of people who spoke to Firstclass newsline lamented that
the present government have not tried on the power sector...One of
them said the present government is filled with corrupt officials who
has no good plan for the Nigeria people,all the know is how to enrich
their selfish pockets,he concluded.

Sam amadi who serves as the chairman of the NERC has said that the
electricity tariff inflated so high because of some unexpected outcome
in january 1 2015.the reduction is still pending till june before the
final and complete reduction,he concluded.
Firstclass newsline investigated the charges meant for residential
consumers and it was gathered that most of the residential consumers
pay 650 to 750 and kwh set at #4.
