President, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Aminu Maigari has been arrested by officials of the Department of States Service (DSS) in Abuja.
Maigari who was to preside over an NFF general assembly later Tuesday, was invited by the DSS, earlier in the day for questioning along with associations General Secretary, Musa Amadu.
Following the arrest, no less than 35 state FA chairmen, reportedly marched to the SSS office in solidarity for NFF president Aminu Maigari.
The arrest is causing a lot of commotion at the venue of the congress, as those in Maigari’s camp feel it is an attempt to sideline them in the scheme of things as the congress aims to chart a way forward for the troubled
