HORROR! How Husband, 70, Chopped Wife To Death With Machete Like Meat In Akwa Ibom.....SEE PHOTO

Firstclass newsline~The last of family violence is not to be heard in
the world because we always hear blood chilling stories about violence
in some families around the world. In Nsit Ibom Local Government Area
of the State, a septuagenarian man, one Ita Daniel Okpo, from
Mbiokporo village, has been arrested for killing his wife, Alice Ita
Daniel, 60, with machete. The machete is also with the Police at the
Force Headquarters, Ikot Akpan Abia.Narrating the story to newsmen,
Tuesday, 16th June, 2015, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, State
Criminal Investigation Department, Mike Okoli, said the deceased was
sleeping when the septuagenarian husband attacked and hacked her."This
man, Ita Daniel Okpo (pointed to the suspect), in a most wicked act,
slaughtered his wife with a machete and we arrested him."When asked,
he admitted to killing his wife but said the late wife, Alice, always
quarreled with him and that she was the first to carry machete.
Gentlemen, but our findings revealed that the woman was sleeping when
she was hacked to death", Okoli noted. However, when newsmen quizzed
the suspect, he admitted to the crime but said he decided to take laws
into his hands after the late wife started sleeping with men of
various age, shapes and sizes in his house.Communicating to newsmen in
pidgin English, the man said: "I regret my act, but I was forced to
kill her because it was too much on me. In fact, at a point, she
openly told me she would rather kill me than to stop sleeping with
these men. To match words with action, she had been fighting me
several times. So, on that fateful day, while we fought, I killed
her", said the 71 year old Ita Daniel Okpo.Meanwhile, the ACP Mike
Okoli, while hinting that the suspect will soon appear in court,
advised people to always report their cases to the Police and avoid
taking laws into their hands. He noted that it is wrong to take laws
into own hands as doing so is a criminal offence with serious
consequences. The Police boss also advised Akwa Ibom people in
particular and Nigerians to avoid provocation and acting in anger,
stressing that such acts would not help, even when the person is the
offended."Report to the police and let due process take its natural
course", he submitted.
