is on the wanted list of the Ondo State Police Command following the
alleged killing of his friend, Seun Ajalami in Iwaro Oka-Akoko in the
Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Wole Ogodo, told a source on
Wednesday in Akure that the suspect fled immediately after the offence
was committed.
According to the police image maker, the deceased and the suspect had
a misunderstanding on the previous day. He added that the
misunderstanding had been settled.
Ogodo explained that the suspect invited the deceased to a private
place on the fateful day where another argument occurred between them.
He said the suspect stabbed his friend with the knife and also cut his
throat before he ran away.
It was learnt that the deceased was rushed to a hospital in the town
where he died.
Ogodo said, "The suspect will not escape because our men are all out
to arrest him. There is no way he can escape without facing the wrath
of the law."
