The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Ojo, who lives on Abinuyo Street., Ijoko, in Ota, was charged with one count of rape.
Sergeant Rosemary Brown ;the prosecutor told the court that the accused committed the offence sometime in 2013 at about 12 noon at his residence.
Rosemary said the accused forcefully had carnal knowledge of his daughter (name withheld).
She said the offence contravened Section 358 of the Criminal Code, Vol. 1, Revised Law of Ogun State, 2006.
The Magistrate, Miss Temitope Adebutu, granted the accused bail in the sum of N200, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
Adebutu said the sureties must have landed property within the court’s jurisdiction and swear to an affidavit of means.
She said, “The sureties should also provide evidence of one year tax payment and submit photocopy of this to the court.”
The magistrate subsequently arraigned the case till June 3, 2015 for hearing.
