BIZZARE:Teacher impregnants a pupil and then discovers she is his daughter

A teacher had sex with a pupil, resulting in a pregnancy before
discovering that the 16-year-old was his long-lost daughter.
Alfred Mokoena, a retired teacher, has apologised for taking advantage
of the pupil while he was still an educator.
Mokoena began the sexual relationship with the pupil in 2011, when she
was just 16, and it was only after the baby was born, and DNA tests
were done, did he discover that the pupil was also his daughter.
"I took advantage of my daughter because she was my pupil and
respected me as her educator. She was young and was supposed to
believe whatever I said to her. I am sorry for the fact that I didn't
even bother to look for her all these years while I knew I had a child
who lived not so far away from where I live," said Mokoena.
Mokoena originally denied the child was his and he threatened to kill
journalists investigating the case, and he has since apologised for
that too.
"Let me apologise for threatening to assault and kill you. I was
confused at the time and didn't want people to know the shameful
things that I did. I know what I did was wrong," said Mokoena.
The young woman, now 20, has also spoken about the situation.
"I didn't know he was my dad. I just knew him as my teacher until I
fell pregnant. It was when he asked for DNA tests that we both found
out we were related. I was shocked and wouldn't have made it if my
family hadn't supported me," she said.
She also spoke about her fears that the child would have some issues
due to the way it was conceived but it appears all is well.
Now she only has one dilemma, as she tells the Times of South Africa:
"My only problem is how will I tell him that his grandfather is his
father? That's the only thing that worries me.
