A Master Piece: MUMMY... WHERE IS MY DADDY?

When she was 21 she had her first love, that lustful relationship
where you will do anything to be in the arms of the person you love
and nothing can separate you two. She was naive and believed they
would be in love forever, she kept making up excuses for missing
school and she shut out her close friends and relatives that were
around her, all she was concerned about was loving and caring for this
boy who knew nothing about loving himself or respecting woman. She was
attracted to his looks and the way he could make her laugh..... when
she was sad he made her smile.. things were getting serious and they
began having sex, at first with protection then after a while they
just stopped protecting themselves, they felt they didn't need it.

One morning she woke up and she felt so sick she ran to the bathroom
and puked, she went to the doctors and told him she was sick, the
doctor came back with the results and said "yup you are pregnant.."
She was speechless and left the doctors office shaking and not knowing
what to do, she was terrified to let anyone know, she went back home
to Ibadan and eventually told her mum. Her mother began to cry and
told her that she messed her life up. ''Do you want to kill me? What
do I tell the church members? That I wasnt able to raise you well? If
your father were to be alive he will be ashamed of you'' ... the young
girl was feeling guilty and worthless at this point so she packed up
her stuffs, ran back to Lagos where she schooled and moved to her
boyfriend's house without letting her mum know. When her boyfriend
asked her why she was moving in with him, she lied she was having
issues with her mum and wanted to stay off for some time.

She didn't tell him yet ...no one knew but her and her mom.
Time passed by and her belly was obviously getting bigger and she had
to tell her bf, "I'm pregnant"... he looked at her speechless and had
that frightened look in his eyes, that look that only a terrified
young man can give, he shrugged it off and said, "I will be there for
you and the baby"..
Time passed and he was keeping to his word and when it came close to
having the baby, the boy was scared inside and started to feel
trapped..... he wasn't attracted to his gf anymore and began to cheat
on her........ One day she came home early and caught him sleeping
with her best friend! She freaked out and was screaming for him to get
out! That it was over! She moved away after that and he totally
abandoned her and their unborn baby, she was all alone now, her own
mother didn't want anything to do with her.. She struggled so much
after her daughter was born, she had no where to live, sleeping at
friend's place, she was way too proud to ask for help so she began to
work, she found a daycare and worked part time and found a place for
her and her daughter. They finally had their own space, a place to
call home! She wasn't complete yet and wanted a career so she went
back to school and got a degree in Accounting.. she was working and
going to school all while being a mother, she didn't need a man or
anyone but her daughter to make her feel complete and loved, she had
it all!! she had that love she was always searching for...
But one day her daughter who was now 6 came home from school and asked
her mother "mummy where's my daddy? The other kids were teasing me
because they said I don't have a dad " the girl picked her daughter
up, tears in her eyes, smiled and looked at her baby "my girl.. I am
your mummy and your daddy''
