We are interested in people devt –Agbaje

The Lagos State governorship candidate of the People's Democratic
Party, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, has said the party is interested in the
development of people.
Agbaje said this when he visited the island communities of
Ido-Oluwo-Ile, Ikaare-Ibeshe and Ilashe to commission some projects,
including school and toilet facilities on behalf of President Goodluck
Jonathan.

"The project does not have funding from the Lagos State Government or
the local government," he said in a statement obtained by a source.
He also said the projects were in line with his vision for education in Lagos.
He added, "What we have done today is in tandem with what we have
always said, that if government neglects basic education, the life of
the child cannot be straightened out.
"The fact is that without education, one will not attain a good
standard of living. It is time for us to think very well which party
is interested in the people's development."
