The police in Bauchi have confirmed an explosion in Azare, Bauchi State.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Lawal Shehu, who confirmed the
blast on Sunday, said rescue operation was in progress.
Shehu could not however give the number of people who might have died
or injured in the blast.
Azare, which houses a Federal Government College, is coming under
bombers attack for the second time in less than three weeks.
